Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff

Our professional service charge includes but is not limited to counseling, availability on a 24 hour basis, consultation with family, assistance of staff in all necessary phases of arrangements, coordinating with those providing other portions of the funeral or services, preparation and filing of all necessary paperwork, assistance to the family following the services and final disposition, assistance and coordinating all obituary information to the appropriate parties, basic register book, memorial candle, tribute DVD, insurance, administrative expenses and legal compliance. This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, forwarding and receiving decedents.
Embalming Preparation
$985
Except in certain special circumstances, embalming is not required by law. However, if you select a certain type of funeral service, such as a traditional funeral with public viewing, embalming may be necessary. If you do not want your loved one embalmed, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or direct burial.

Infant Children
There is no service charge or embalming charge. We do not charge for the use of Fredregill Family Funeral Home's facilities or staff. The only fees associated with an infant's passing would be the casket, vault prices and any other cash advance items. (Infant caskets and vaults range from $35 to $400 each)

Other Preparations

This includes bathing, dressing, casketing, applying cosmetics, restorative arts, or required handling of the body for burial, cremation or shipment. If extensive restorative arts are needed, an hourly rate of $75 an hour will be charged.

Direct Cremation
$2095
For cremation without services, cremation may be provided using a container provided by you. These containers encase the body and are typically made of materials like fiberboard. The containers we provide are pressboard. Our fee for Direct Cremation (excluding any ceremony or visitation charges) includes a local removal, care and other preparation of remains, transportation to the crematory, completion of all legal documents and the basic service of Funeral Director and staff. The Medical Examiner fee is $75.

Forwarding Decedents To Another Funeral Home

This fee includes the removal of your loved one to our funeral home, minimum services of our staff, necessary authorizations, embalming, use of our preparation room, shipping container and local transportation. This fee does not include use of facilities or staff for a visitation, ceremony, etc.
Receiving Decedents From Another Funeral Home

If your loved one has been received from another funeral home, this fee includes minimum services from our staff, transportation from the airport, care of your loved one and their transportation to the cemetery or crematory. This fee does not include use of our facilities or staff for a visitation or ceremony.
All cash advance items such as cemetery expenses, honorariums, sales tax, death certificates, obituary notices, etc. are expected to be paid in full at the time of arrangements unless otherwise arranged.
