Gloragene A Lampe Obituary (1932

Gloragene Arleeta Lampe, 88, of Hubbard and formerly of Nevada, Iowa passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020 at the Hubbard Care Center in Hubbard, Iowa. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Nevada Municipal Cemetery in Nevada, Iowa with Pastor Laura Renault officiating. Mask and social distancing will be required. Gloragene was born on June 1, 1932 in Bancroft, Iowa to Andrew and Zada Koppen. On June 22, 1950 she married Leonard Lampe. The couple raised their family together in Hubbard. Gloragene loved spending time with her family most especially her grandkids. She also enjoyed animals of all kinds and her pets, gardening, canning her garden goods, flowers, knitting, playing Scrabble and other various games, and being at home. Those left to cherish her loving memory are her children Joyce (Steve) Kix of Hubbard, Iowa, Doris (Gary) Wheelock of Ames, Iowa, and Bruce (Roxane) Lampe of Nevada, Iowa; son-in-law Jim Eilders; grandchildren Michelle (Craig) Wiertsema, Angela (Mark) Folkers, James (Angela) Eilders, Jennifer (Chad) Nicholl, Wes (Hope) Kix, Mike Kix, Morgan (Tim) Hunter, Dr. Brandy (Russ) Brown, Jennifer (Will) Dutcher, Sara (Jim) Shea, Erin (Justin) Minor, Carrie Thompson, and Danielle (Garret) Gardner; great-grandchildren Casandra Wiertsema, Brianna (Ron) Darby, Alyssa Eilders, Connor Folkers, Brooke Folkers, Katelyn Eilders, Nicholas Eilders, Elizabeth Eilders, Jack Nicholl, Madison Nicholl, Reagan Nicholl, Olivia Kix, Alyssa Kix, Nile Kix, Alexis Kix, Dalton Hunter, Dakoda Hunter, Maddox Hunter, Aiden Brown, Kingsley Brown, Lydia Bride, Jacob Shea, and Willow Shea, Ava Minor, Eli Minor, Dillan Thompson, Nehemiah Gardner, Mathias Gardner, and Isaiah Gardner; siblings Richard Koppen, Carmela Perry; brother-in-law LeRoy Ennen; sisters-in-law Ethel Steven and Vicki Koppen; Half sister Minerva Busby, many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leonard, daughter Linda Eilders, grandson Alex Partridge, siblings Alvena Ennen, Robert (Sandy) Koppen, Lamont Koppen, Raymond deVeya, Janet Koppen; Harold (Dorothy) Lampe, Gene (Kay) Lampe, and Jim Steven.
